Meet our Elders

We believe the leadership of the local church should be formed by the ancient Scriptures rather than the corporate world. For us, this means that Faith Church is led by a plurality (Acts 20:17) of pastor/elders (Titus 1:5), qualified for leadership by the grace of Jesus Christ and in accordance with the requirements given by the Apostles (1 Timothy 3:1–13).

Therefore all of our leaders are not just in authority, but under it as well. Jesus Christ is the Chief Shepherd (1 Peter 5:4) of Faith Church, the senior leader to whom all of our leaders will give an account (Hebrews 13:17).

Jordan Gallo | Pastor

Jordan was raised in a Christian home and attended a very large non-denominational (Baptist) church in Indianapolis, where he professed faith in Christ from a young age. At Grove City College (B.A. Biblical Studies and Philosophy 2011), he first came into contact with expressly Reformed teaching on salvation, as well as the “buried treasures” of traditional hymnody and robust liturgy. Sensing a possible call to ministry, he enrolled at Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte (M.Div. 2014) and joined a local PCA church, where all the pieces of historic Reformed doctrine and piety sweetly fell into place. In the spring of 2015, Jordan was called to serve at Faith under the outgoing Dr. Gordon Reed, one of the “founding fathers” of the PCA; and he was ordained and installed as pastor in January 2016. Jordan and Anna met and married in 2020 and have four children: Mark, Dot, Judah, and Silas.

J. Keith Harrison | Ruling Elder

Keith Harrison is a retired pharmaceutical rep from Spartanburg, SC, and an alumnus of the University of South Carolina. Raised in a Christian family, Keith became truly convinced of his need for a Savior and converted to Christ at age 25, through the witness of such passages as Romans 3:23. He and his wife Becky, married in 1982 and raised their four children in Florence, who with their grandchildren are now spread throughout the Carolinas—including a son and two grandsons here in Florence. Keith is grateful for the spirit of generosity and practical helpfulness that characterizes the members of Faith toward one another in their daily lives.

Edmund Terrio | Ruling Elder

Ed Terrio was born and raised in Columbia, SC, graduating from the University of South Carolina into a career in telephone engineering in Florence (now retired). He and Ruth, married in 1973, have children and grandchildren in Texas and West Virginia, as well as their son and grandsons here in Florence. Ed grew up in the Roman Catholic Church, but he came to saving faith at around 20 years old through the witness of Ruth’s family and such passages as Ephesians 2:8-9. He is thankful for the biblical preaching and Reformed teaching at Faith, as we thoroughly explore every part of the Scriptures to see the goodness of God and his will for our lives.
